All New Mercedes-Benz CLA Global Launch Confirmed

Mercedes-Benz has officially announced the launch of its all-new CLA on March 13. With the 2025 Mercedes-Benz CLA launch, the luxury automobile manufacturer aims to strengthen its entry-level luxury car lineup. The global debut is confirmed after a year since the initial concept of the CLA was unveiled at the Munich Motor Show in September 2023. The vehicle is reportedly said to be based on Mercedes-Benz Modular Architecture, which will be used by the German automaker in its new generation of compact cars.

2025 Mercedes-Benz CLA Exterior Design

The upcoming Mercedes Benz CLA features a new design that is inspired by the brand's original model. The new CLA will feature a coupe-like roofline for a sporty look and feel. There may be wraparound LED headlights with three-pointed star LED signatures in the front, while the front grill will also be refined to maintain the brand's legacy. On the rear side, a full-width LED light bar will be linked to both tail lamps with a similar star-like LED signature. The automaker has kept the vehicle's stand low and sporty with flared haunches to offer more modern and premium styling.

All New Mercedes-Benz CLA Interior & Tech Features

Along with the exterior, the Mercedes Benz CLA interior will also be completely changed and enhanced using modern technology. It's likely to have a new Mercedes-Benz Operating System (MB.OS) and incorporation of an AI-driven virtual assistant and supercomputer for better performance and a seamless drive experience. The vehicle will be offered a Supercreen package with three connected screens to make the cabins even more technically sound.

The new CLA will have Level-2 semi-autonomous driving capabilities for safety, leveraging LiDAR sensors and other cutting-edge tech features. The Mercedes-Benz car will receive over-the-air software updates to ensure it remains updated with technological advancements. An optional big glass roof will also be offered to prospective luxury car buyers.

Mercedes-Benz CLA Powertrain

The upcoming Mercedes CLA will be available in multiple powertrain options, including electric and internal combustion. The electric version of the Mercedes-Benz CLA will be offered in multiple trims, including a lower-spec rear electric motor and a two-speed transmission option. At the same time, the higher-spec 4Matic versions will be equipped with an additional electric motor on the front axle for enhanced traction on the road. There will be up to 800V architecture for potent power and high-speed charging of up to 32kW.

The electric Mercedes-Benz CLA will have a range of 750 km and will deliver up to 300 km on 10 minutes of charge. The rear motor options will be capable of churning out 268 bhp, while the all-wheel drive trim will offer an additional 107 bhp of power delivery.

The ICE trim of the Mercedes CLA will have a brand new 1.5-liter 4-cylinder petrol engine with varied power outputs of 134 bhp, 161 bhp, and 188 bhp. FWD and AWD options will offer the ICE engine trims with a 4Matic system for accelerated performance. There can be a new 8-speed DCT gearbox with an electric motor capable of delivering 27 bhp of power output.
