Porsche’s new all-electric Macan offers enhanced performance and efficiency.
The Macan 4S features up to 516 PS and a 0-100 km/h time of 4.1 seconds.
The entry-level Macan has a range of up to 641 km on a single charge.
Supports 270 kW DC fast charging, with a 10-80% charge in about 21 minutes.
Includes a 12.6-inch curved instrument display, a 10.9-inch passenger display, and customizable ambient lighting.
The Porsche Macan now offers rear-wheel drive and an impressive range of up to 641 kilometers. The top model, Macan 4S, delivers 380 kW (516 PS) of power. All Macan variants now come with a new off-road design package and updated Porsche Driver Experience. With this update, Porsche doubles its electric SUV options, focusing on efficiency with the rear-wheel drive model and high performance with the Macan 4S.
The 4S has the advanced Porsche Traction Management (ePTM) system, which sends power to the front and rear axles up to five times faster than regular all-wheel-drive systems.
The new entry-level Macan uses a 100 kWh battery and has a rear motor similar to the Macan 4, with a 210-mm diameter and 200-mm length, producing 250 kW (340 PS). It features a 480-amp pulse inverter with silicon carbide (SiC) semiconductors for better efficiency and higher frequencies.
With Launch Control, the Macan can reach 265 kW (360 PS) and 563 Nm of torque, going from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.7 seconds and hitting a top speed of 220 km/h. It's 110 kg lighter than the Macan 4 and achieves a combined WLTP range of up to 641 km.
The Macan 4S features a new rear motor and a powerful 600-amp SiC pulse inverter. The rear motor is 230 mm in diameter and 150 mm in active length. Together with the front motor from the Macan 4 and Turbo, it delivers 330 kW (448 PS) and up to 380 kW (516 PS) with overboots. Launch Control provides 820 Nm of torque, accelerating the 4S from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.1 seconds, with a top speed of 240 km/h and a WLTP range of up to 606 km.
Standard features include Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), adaptive air suspension, Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV Plus), and rear-axle steering for improved performance and comfort.
Both new models keep the Macan's classic, aerodynamic look (cw = 0.25). They use an 800-volt system that supports fast charging up to 270 kW, allowing the battery to go from 10 to 80 percent in about 21 minutes at a fast-charging station.
All Macan models now have a new Slate Grey Neo color option and a 20-inch Macan S wheel. The new off-road design package makes the Macan more practical for rough terrain, with an improved approach angle of 17.4 degrees and a 10 mm increase in ground clearance to 195 mm.
The package includes 21-inch off-road wheels and painted side blades. Roof railings are available in Black, Silver, or Turbonite (for Turbo models only).
The Macan’s new electric version features a blend of digital and analog controls. It includes a 12.6-inch curved display for the driver, a 10.9-inch screen for the passenger, an augmented reality head-up display, and ambient lighting with a communication light.
The updated screens have a welcoming animation, a sleek design, and a new theme app that lets you customize display backgrounds and ambient lighting to match the car's exterior color, with twelve color options available.
The new electric Porsche Macan combines advanced technology with a sleek design, featuring powerful performance, enhanced off-road capabilities, and customizable digital displays. With its long-range, fast charging, and new design options, the Macan sets a high standard for electric SUVs, blending luxury with practicality.
