Toyota has revealed the 2026 Sequoia with significant enhancements focusing on elevating luxury features and vehicle performance. The full-size SUV has become an even more prominent option for customers looking for refined luxury, above-market off-road capabilities, and a high-tech driving experience suitable for modern families and adventure drive lovers. With an upgraded interior theme, top-end safety suite, and hybrid powertrain setup, the Sequoia is positioning itself as a more adventure-focused SUV in the market.

2026 Toyota Sequoia Powertrain & Performance

The all-new Sequoia is equipped with a proven twin-turbo V6 hybrid i-FORCE MAX engine, delivering 437 horsepower and 583 lb-ft of torque. The powertrain setup is designed for maximum performance efficiency and smoother acceleration. It comprises a unique motor generator between the engine and transmission that maintains optimal power delivery while also balancing fuel efficiency.

As part of technological features, the new generation Toyota Sequoia has the brand’s latest audio multimedia setup, available in an 8-inch or optional 14-inch touchscreen interface. The system is developed by Toyota’s Connected Technologies team in Texas and has voice command features that can be activated by saying Hey Toyota. It also has cloud-based navigation with real-time updates and Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

To maximize comfort level, Toyota’s luxury off-road SUV has massaging seats for passengers in select grades like 1794, Platinum, and Capstone. There are several massage options available in these seats that can be controlled through a 14-inch touchscreen.

New Toyota Sequoia Safety Features

In the latest version of the Sequoia SUV, the Japanese automobile manufacturer has offered Toyota Safety Sense 2.5, which is its advanced safety suite for passenger vehicles. Toyota’s safety suite includes a pre-collision system with pedestrian detection, emergency steering assist, full speed dynamic radar cruise control, lane tracing assist, automatic high beams, road sign assist, and blind spot monitor and rear cross traffic alert.

To make the ownership experience even more seamless, Toyota has backed the 2026 Sequoia with its 36-month or 36,000-mile basic warranty, 60-month or 60,000-mile powertrain warranty. ToyotaCare also offers 2 years or 25,000 miles of free scheduled maintenance and 24/7 roadside assistance.
