Ram has officially teased the 2026 Dakota Nightfall Concept at an event organized in São Paulo, Brazil. About 15 years later, the American automobile company revived the Dakota nameplate since it axed the mid-size pickup truck in North America in 2011. According to the report, the 2026 Dakota will be manufactured at Stellantis’ Cordoba Assembly Plant in Argentina.

The Dakota Nightfall concept will be based on the Ford Titano, which is also manufactured at the Cordoba facility. Some reports claim that the company will keep the production version of the 2026 Ram Dakota Nightfall Concept limited to Latin American markets.

In terms of design, the teased image indicates that the upcoming Ram Dakota Nightfall Concept gets an aggressive design approach with a bold grille, slim headlight setup, and continuous LED stripe spread across the width of the pickup truck. On the rear, it features an LED taillight setup, a Ram emblem on the tailgate, and Turbo badging.

The 2026 Ram Dakota Nightfall Concept is likely to be a serious off-road pickup truck with Fox high-performance suspension, skid plates, and two hooks on both ends. It also features 33-inch all-terrain tyres wrapped around 18-inch beadlock alloy wheels.
With other specifications not disclosed, the Dakota Nightfall Concept is anticipated to be powered by a 2.2-liter multi-jet II turbodiesel I4 engine found in Brazilian spec Jeep Compass and Ram Rampage. The engine unit is capable of delivering 200 horsepower and 450 Nm of torque.
