The new Lexus TX has been unveiled for the 2026 model year, offering a premium level of comfort, cutting-edge technology, and refined performance. While the updates are minor, these changes make the 2026 Lexus TX even more practical for customers. The TX has been a well-rounded SUV in its segment with a luxury three-row seating arrangement and a technologically equipped dashboard.

For 2026, Lexus has launched Matador Red Mica as a new color option on non-F SPORT trims and has made panorama glass roof standard on the TX 550h+ options. There are also several practical touches to ensure the passengers can experience a comfortable and relaxed drive. Some of the noticeable touches include a modular cupholder as standard in third row seats.
The 2026 Lexus TX is built on the GA-K platform, which also underpins RX and NX models. The TX SUV focuses on maintaining a balance between precision and quietness. Featuring Lexus’ Driving Signature (LDS) philosophy to ensure linear steering, smooth suspension, and confidence-inspiring handling while driving on city roads or highways.

It also has Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS), which is standard in F SPORT trims, that constantly adjusts damping to match road conditions. For drivers who need more refined handling and performance, the Dynamic Rear Steering (DRS) option is available on the TX 500h.

Inside the cabin, there is a spacious seating arrangement for up to 7 passengers with the option for captain’s chairs or a bench in the second row. Also, there is up to 97 cubic feet of cargo space with both the second and third rows folded down, making it ideal for adventure trips.

In luxury trims, Lexus has used premium materials like semi-aniline leather, while the F SPORT versions feature exclusive sport seating. The cabin even packs ambient lighting, an intelligent storage solution, and a 14-inch touchscreen powered by Lexus Interface System, as well as seven USB ports, wireless charging, and a 24-speaker Mark Levinson surround sound system.
Lexus has offered the brand’s in-house Lexus Safety System+ 3.0, which comes mated with a pre-collision system with pedestrian detection, lane tracing assist, dynamic radar cruise control, road sign assist, and emergency driving stop system.

Additional safety features include a digital key, cloud navigation, advanced park assist, and traffic jam assist to allow drivers to experience semi-autonomous driving.
The new TX SUV comes in three powertrain options, including a 2.4-liter turbocharged inline-4 engine in TX 350 (FWD/AWD) trims that produces 275 hp of power output and 317 lb ft of torque, paired with an 8-speed transmission.

The TX 500h F SPORT Performance trim is powered by a 2.4-liter turbo hybrid system, delivering 366 horsepower and 406 lb ft of torque. It delivers thrilling performance with DIRECT4 AWD and Dynamic Rear Steering. In contrast, the top-end TX 550h+ PHEV option gets Lexus-first plug-in hybrid technology, featuring a 3.5-liter V6 engine with DIRECT4 AWD setup to produce 404 horsepower and deliver a pure electric range of 33 miles.
The base TX 350 Standard is priced at $55,000 (approx AED 202,000) in the US, while its Premium, Luxury, and F SPORT Handling versions are available at $58,000 (AED 213,000), $62,000 (AED 228,000), and $61,000 (AED 224,000).
