XPeng Motors has revealed the latest version of its P7 electric sports sedan with a blend of cutting-edge design and artificial intelligence. The new model comes with a sleek rear, a minimalist exterior, and AI-driving modes, making it a capable model in the electric vehicle market.

The Chinese EV company announced that its P7 electric is designed by Rafik Ferrag, a creator of the original 2018 P7, and the new model has a smooth shape visible from front to back. It gets a steel-like color that gives it a bullet-shaped look. While the EV has a five-seat configuration, it gets comparatively smaller cabin space than the P7+ variant to prioritize its sporty appeal.
XPeng has focused on keeping the EV more technologically equipped with a blend of classic simplicity rather than retro elements. Its previous iteration, launched in 2020, received a 5-star safety rating in both C-NCAP and Euro NCAP tests.

One of the major feature highlights of XPeng P7 is its AI-driven driving modes powered by the brand’s in-house developed Turing chip. The system utilizes multiple cameras and sensors for navigation; therefore, it does not require LiDAR technology. It also features a modern smart cockpit with a digital dashboard and panoramic glass ceiling flowing seamlessly to the trunk.
The XPeng P7 sports sedan can deliver 576 km of range on a single charge. It gets an 86.2 kWh battery that can be charged 10-80% in 29 minutes. Its AWD version can accelerate 0-100 km/h in 4.1 seconds. This sports sedan represents XPeng’s advancement in electric vehicles and cutting-edge use of AI technology. The P7 EV is confirmed to debut in China in Q3 of this year, while the global debut is expected to be revealed soon.
