These electric SUVs are specifically designed for the Chinese market, reflecting Toyota's focus on catering to local preferences and needs.
The bZ3C was developed in collaboration with the Intelligent ElectroMobility R&D Center by Toyota, BYD, and FAW, while the bZ3X was developed by the Guangzhou Automobile Group and GAC Toyota Motor.

Toyota showcased its latest electric SUVs, the bZ3C and bZ3X, at Auto China 2024, targeting the Chinese market.
The bZ3C, designed for younger drivers, is a result of collaboration between Toyota, BYD, and FAW's Intelligent ElectroMobility R&D Center. Meanwhile, the bZ3X, aimed at families, was developed by the Guangzhou Automobile Group and GAC Toyota Motor.

Both the bZ3C and bZ3X electric SUVs resemble the redesigned Prius. The bZ3C features a sleek crossover design with a modern rear end, embodying a "reboot" concept. In contrast, the bZ3X has a more SUV-like appearance, reminiscent of the Fortuner from certain angles.
The Toyota bZ3C and bZ3X will feature advanced driver-assistance systems, although details about their drivetrains have not been revealed yet. While Toyota has not disclosed the launch date for these electric SUVs, signs indicate an imminent release. Pricing information for the new Toyota EVs remains undisclosed at this time.

Although the bZ3X and bZ3C were designed specifically for the Chinese market, it remains unclear if they will be offered in other specific regions.
At Auto China 2024, Toyota's exhibition featured not only the bZ3X and bZ3C but also other well-known vehicles like the Land Cruiser Prado hybrid EV and the rally-inspired GR Yaris.

Last year, Toyota introduced the bZ FlexSpace Concept (now bZ3X) and the bZ Sport Cross Concept (now bZ3C) at the Auto Shanghai Exhibition. Since then, Toyota has made significant progress in refining these models, initially targeting the Chinese market.
Toyota debuted its latest offerings in the electric SUV segment, the bZ3C and bZ3X, at Auto China 2024.
