The European division of Toyota earlier this week announced several electric vehicles for the European market, including a bZ4Z compact SUV, an F-Sport variant for the Lexus RZ SUV, and a compact FT-Me concept, showcasing its commitment to expanding the electric vehicle portfolio and offering a range of options to wide audience base in this region. In the same event, this Japanese automaker also announced to launch three more EVs by 2026, including one pickup truck and SUV that can be an electric version of the Land Cruiser SUV.

The automaker didn’t reveal technical details about these three upcoming EVs, but the teaser images give a sense of understanding of what to expect from these vehicles. Starting with the upcoming electric SUV from Toyota it features a boxy profile and a distinctive dip in the roofline on the rear profile.
This silhouette looks similar to the Land Cruiser Se concept showcased in 2023. When showcasing the Land Cruiser Se concept, Toyota provided limited information like 3-row seats and a 10-inch longer profile than the hybrid Land Cruiser.

In the middle of the teaser image, it looks like a pickup truck and reveals its goal to add an EV truck to its lineup. Though an EPU concept was showcased in 2023, the side profile doesn’t match the truck’s stubby shape. Instead, it looks more similar to the electric version of the Toyota Hilux, a globally renowned mid-size truck. Therefore, it is no surprise that Toyota will unveil its electric Hilux in the coming years.
Another EV teased by Toyota has a sleeker front and a lower, wagon-like roofline that can be seen in Crown Signia. This can be the production variant of the bZ Large SUV concept showcased in 2021, which could be originally sold as bZ5Z.

Recent reports suggest Lexus will receive two more electric models in Europe after the updated RZ. There is no news about these electric models, but one is reportedly a sedan with a similar profile to a compact IS sedan. A three-row luxury SUV is also rumored for flagship family car buyers.
Toyota has announced three electric models for the European market. Still, there is a chance some of these models can also be offered in UAE, given the popularity of flagship models like Land Cruiser and Toyota Hilux.
