Introduced last year, the LBX from Lexus is essentially a compact counterpart to the Lexus UX. It comes with an 8-speed Gazoo Racing Direct Automatic Transmission and bears the Morizo name, an alias used by Akio Toyoda in racing. At TAS 2024, the concept vehicle was presented with the automatic version of the Lexus LBX Morizo, highlighting the all-wheel-drive system found in the GR Corolla and Yaris.
Built on the GA-B platform shared with the Toyota Yaris Cross, the Lexus LBX is specifically customized to meet Lexus' high standards. With a low center of gravity, advanced hybrid technology, and wide tracks, it offers a pleasurable driving experience.
In the realm of technology, the LBX comes equipped with a cutting-edge infotainment and multimedia system that seamlessly incorporates contemporary features for a delightful driving experience. Its interior is characterized by a blend of elegance and simplicity, distinguishing it from its Toyota counterpart and underscoring Lexus's dedication to superior craftsmanship.

While the Lexus LBX utilizes the foundational elements of the Yaris Cross, it sets itself apart by imbuing the shared components with the distinctive qualities of Lexus, encompassing luxury, advanced technology, and superior performance.
