Smart Mobility International to Launch REEVs in UAE

Smart Mobility International, the subsidiary of UAE’s major automotive agencies with over 40 years of experience in distributing passenger vehicles of luxury brands like Rolls-Royce, BMW, and McLaren, has now partnered with AVATR Technology to gain exclusive dealership rights for AVATR’s innovative range of vehicles in the region.

AVATR Technology is a joint venture between Chang’an Automobile and CATL and is known for offering luxury new-energy vehicles in global markets. CATL is well-renowned as a smart energy technology company, and its partnership with Huawei further strengthens this joint venture with Changan. With this strategic partnership, AVATR runs cutting-edge R&D, innovative smart energy technology, and an intelligent ecosystem for its new-generation luxury vehicles.

SMI’s collaboration with AVATR Technology will debut a Range of Extended Electric Vehicles from this leading automotive company. This initiative aims to strengthen the sustainable mobility options available in UAE for luxury electric car buyers and drivers and solve the common issues like range anxiety and limited charging infrastructure that customers face.

AVATR Technology has flagship AVATR 11 and AVATR 12 battery electric vehicles. However, the brand is now gearing up to launch additional battery electric vehicles and extended-range models later this year. This strategic launch includes AVATR 07, featuring KUNLUN range-extending technology. AVATR 07 is a fully electric vehicle with an onboard petrol-powered electric generator for better range.
