Skoda has introduced the top-tier Monte Carlo edition of the Kushaq in the region. Geared towards a younger audience, this special edition exudes a sporty vibe.
In contrast to the luxurious namesake associated with the French Riviera, the Skoda Monte Carlo's narrative unfolds as a tale of victories against the odds and unforeseen turns. The renown of the Skoda Monte Carlo nameplate was established through triumphant performances in rallies during the 60s and 70s. Skoda's unexpected successes in the challenging Monte Carlo Rally contributed to the brand's reputation for producing durable and reliable vehicles.
The moniker quickly became associated with specially crafted Skodas featuring sporty aesthetics and enhanced performance, evolving into an emblem of enjoyable driving experiences. Consequently, one can now anticipate the kind of offerings the upgraded Monte Carlo edition of the Kushaq is set to deliver.
The Kushaq Monte Carlo showcases stylish 17-inch dual-tone Vega alloy wheels with attractive silver calipers. Monte Carlo badges are prominently featured on the side fenders and scuff plates, complementing the attention-grabbing glossy black radiator grille, front and rear diffusers, and even on the door mirror casings.
The Monte Carlo edition is equipped with a 1.0 Turbo engine beneath the hood, paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission. All the power is directed to the front wheels.
Upon entering, the sporty ambiance persists. The interior revolves around an elegant, standalone touchscreen infotainment system that provides easy access to all functions. Luxurious dual-tone seats in a bold red and black combination enhance the sporty atmosphere, while soft-touch materials ensure a pleasurable experience at every touchpoint.
The Monte Carlo edition encompasses all the features present in other Kushaq models, including a 6-speaker sound system, smartphone connectivity, and the latest Virtual Cockpit with a red theme. Safety elements, such as six airbags, a tire pressure monitoring system, park distance control, Hill Hold Control, and a rearview camera, are also included.
Lukáš Honzák, Managing Director of Škoda Middle East, expressed, "The Škoda brand finds an ideal market in the Middle East, with our models perfectly meeting the demands of the region's car buyers. We offer European quality, innovative features, and excellent value for money."
"The Kushaq line, especially, is paving the way for brand growth in the market, focusing on young, aspirational individuals – the everyday explorers – who seek to set themselves apart and truly appreciate the value proposition that Škoda provides."
The Kushaq Monte Carlo Edition is scheduled to be available for purchase in Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, and the UAE in early 2024.
