British luxury car manufacturer Rolls-Royce revealed one of the most exclusive cars in its portfolio, the Rolls-Royce La Rose Noire, in 2023 for the first time. It was launched at a starting price of $30 million, making it more expensive than the Rolls-Royce Boat Tail and Sweptail. One of four Droptails has been spotted at Pebble Beach in London.

Rolls-Royce La Rose Noire has been positioned as the brand’s first modern two-seater, replacing the previously launched 2+2 configuration of droptail models. The British luxury automotive manufacturer claims the Black Baccara inspires the Rolls-Royce La Rose Noire rose. One of the notable highlights and distinguishing features of this luxury two-seater car is its unique and removable carbon fiber roof, with the option to get an open-air experience or install a hard roof.
The luxury car manufacturer has used 1,603 pieces of Black Sycamore veneer; symmetrical triangles have been punctuated by asymmetrical red segments, creating a unique artwork of falling rose petals that cosset the driver and passenger. Rolls-Royce has also claimed that the complete development of La Rose Noire 2-seater took over 2 years and nine months for an artisan to create the compelling craft it is known for. Its other hand-made artwork also comprises an abstract petal motif cascading across the aft deck. Two angular sail cowl frames resemble a yacht’s jib.

Under the hood of this masterpiece, Rolls-Royce has offered a 6.75-liter twin-turbo V12 engine, producing 563 horsepower and 847 Nm of peak torque. With this engine configuration, the Rolls-Royce La Rose Noire can accelerate 0-100 km/h in 4.8 seconds and achieve a top speed of 250 km/h.
