EV Online Application

A UAE-based start-up that sells electric vehicles under multiple brands has launched a mobility app that offers a comprehensive selection of EV brands available in the area.

EVLAB wants to make it easier for drivers to live sustainably by offering a one-stop marketplace app that makes renting, leasing, and hosting EVs simple.

When sales of EVs surpass 10 million in 2022, the market is expected to grow exponentially. In just three years, the proportion of electric vehicles in total sales has more than tripled, rising from roughly 4% in 2020 to 14% in 2022. The Middle East is a leader in electric mobility, and between 2022 and 2028, the UAE's EV market is expected to expand at a rate of thirty percent per year. The new app from EVLAB caters to consumers' increasing desire to transition to eco-friendly mobility options.

The CEO and founder of EVLAB, Kevin Chalhoub, stated that his company is dedicated to lowering CO2 emissions and promoting environmentally friendly transportation in the area.

"The adoption and shift to e-mobility is unavoidable given the accelerated rate of climate change. EVLAB's continuous objective is to lower emissions continuously, and the company is happy to report that it has already saved 76,174 kg of CO2 to date. With the help of the EVLAB app, we will continue to do so, according to Kevin.

Drivers can think about leasing, hosting, or short-term rentals of their EVs by using the app. Using the host, rent, lease, and chat tabs on the homepage makes navigating the booking process easy.

"The app makes it simple for users to host, rent, and lease their electric cars in a reliable and secure marketplace. Renting and leasing have become more appealing options than buying since battery technology is advancing so quickly that the current range of electric vehicles will become outdated in two to three years. Customers will also find it easier to choose their ideal electric car from a range of options, such as performance, acceleration, range, and charging times, depending on their needs and budget," Chalhoub continued.

Plans call for the introduction of services like the buying and selling of EVs that are currently available in the area. You can download this app from Google Play or the App Store, as well as from EVLAB's official website, www.ev-lab.io.
