As part of a bold move to enter the future of luxury and technology, Range Rover has introduced the all-new SV Black edition. It's one of the brand's most visually dramatic and sensorially immersive models the Range Rover has ever produced. The new SV Black will be positioned alongside the SV Serenity and SV Intrepid, the latest masterpiece comprising next-level luxury features, ultimate personalization, and performance. Under the hood, it packs a 615PS V8 engine and the world's first Sensory Floor technology.
Specially designed for those who often look for discreet sophistication, the Range Rover SV Black comes finished in Narvik Gloss Black with darkened accents across the exterior, including a polished mesh front grille and bonnet lettering and a black ceramic SV roundel at the rear. For imposing road presence, the luxury SUV rides on 23-inch alloy wheels with Gloss Black brake callipers, Moonlight Chrome detailing, adding to its stealthy and refined profile.
Inside the cabin, it features Ebony Near-Aniline leather upholstery with single-panel seat designs for a fluid and luxurious feel. Also, Satin black ceramic finishes on the gear shifter and Black Birch veneers can be seen, which strengthen the interior's design purity and premium positioning.
With SV Black, Range Rover has also introduced world-first Sensory Floor technology. It uses embedded transducers in sync with the music or one of six wellness modes to create an immersive full-body audio experience. This feature is given as part of Range Rover's BASS system that is now standard in all SV models, ensuring occupants have a of ride during their daily urban commutes.
In terms of power and performance, the Range Rover SV Black is equipped with a 615 PS V8 engine that balances performance and precision for both urban commutes and long-haul journeys. The powertrain also allows SUVs to tow up to 1,800 kg of trailer or other equipment they want to carry during their weekend family trips. To maximize efficiency and comfort, SV Black has debuted with industry-first Pirelli P Zero tyres, developed using over 70% of sustainable materials like plant-based oils and recycled steel.
Range Rover SV Black is confirmed to make its global premiere at the prestigious Goodwood Festival of Speed 2025, along with Range Rover Sport SV Black. Range Rover will commence the booking window for both models later this year, with the SV Black likely to be the most exclusive and desirable SUV in the global market.
