Porsche has debuted its first-ever Macan GTS Electric, adding the newest model in its performance EV lineup. Along with getting an electric powertrain, the Macan GTS is also the most powerful Macan produced to date. It has been positioned between Macan 4S and Macan Turbo versions. Porsche has introduced the electrified version of Macan as it plans to replace the ICE versions globally by 2026. It is important to note that ICE versions have already been discontinued in the European Union.

In the first-ever electric Macan, Porsche has offered two electric motors, one placed at the front and another at the rear, to produce a combined power output of 563 hp and torque of 954 Nm with the help of the Overboost function. In normal drive conditions, the Macan GTS electric churns out 509 horsepower. On the other hand, the Macan 4S delivers 509 hp of peak power delivery, and the Macan Turbo produces 630 hp of power output.
Porsche has claimed that the Macan GTS sprints 0-100 km/h in 3.6 seconds and hits the top speed of 249 km/h. In comparison, the 4S takes 3.9 seconds of acceleration time and achieves a top speed of 239 km/h, while the Turbo has an acceleration time of 3.1 seconds and a top speed of 260 km/h. The Porsche Macan GTS boasts the WLTP range of up to 586 km.

While the design and interior features seem to be similar to other versions of Macan, the GTS distinguishes itself by getting more robust rocker panels and Lugano Blue color, along with Carmine Red and Chalk. The global buyers of the Porsche Macan GTS have the option to choose from 15 standard or around 60 additional paint options made available through Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur. Porsche has offered 21-inch wheels as standard with optional 22-inch wheels finished in Anthracite Gray.
Additionally, there is a new GTS Interior Package to offer customers with contrast stitching that matches the exterior color when finished in Carmine Red, Slate Gray Neo, or Lugano Blue. A GTS logo is also added on the steering wheel and instrument cluster. However, this package can only be opted with carbon fiber interior trim.
