Porsche is committed to growing its range of electric vehicles, as evidenced by the Taycan's significant enhancements last month. The company released the fully electric Macan in January. The manufacturer debuted the brand-new Taycan Turbo GT, the fastest mass-produced vehicle from the company that raises the bar for performance in electric vehicles. It has an electric motor of more than 1,000 horsepower.

The Taycan Turbo GT, with its improved range, speedier charging times, and exceptional performance, is the perfect example of Porsche's dedication to quality and innovation in the electric vehicle industry.
Weissach pack, an optional addition to the new Turbo GT that reduces overall weight by doing away with the rear seats and installing a fixed rear spoiler, is also available for purchase.

Before its release, the Taycan Turbo GT with the Weissach Package set a lap record of 1:27.87 at the Weathertech Raceway Laguna Seca in California, earning it the distinction of "fastest electric series-production car."
With a lap time of 7:07.55 at the Nürburgring Nordschleife, the new Taycan achieved a world record. It beat the previous record for lap time by 26 seconds. Its exceptional performance demonstrates Porsche's superiority in acceleration and cornering on this difficult course.

The enhanced drivetrain, which includes a very potent motor with launch control that increases power to 1033 PS and can deploy an over-boost of 1,108 PS for two seconds, is credited with these accomplishments.
The Taycan Turbo GT from Porsche reaches 62 mph (100 kmph) in 2.3 seconds. It is tenths faster than the Turbo S and takes 2.1 seconds less with the Weissach pack. Reaching 124 mph (200 kmph) takes 6.6 seconds, or 6.4 seconds with the Weissach pack, which is around 1.3 seconds faster than the Turbo S.

Orders for the 2017 Porsche Taycan Turbo GT and Turbo GT with Weissach Package are now open, and the first vehicles should show up at US dealerships in time for the summer.
Porsche's unveiling of the 2024 Taycan Turbo GT marks a significant milestone in automotive engineering, showcasing the brand's commitment to pushing the boundaries of performance and innovation. With its impressive speed and advanced technology, the Taycan Turbo GT represents a new pinnacle in Porsche's lineup, promising an exhilarating driving experience for enthusiasts around the world.
