With the drop in fuel prices, the cost per kilometre to drive will also go down significantly. Filling up your petrol tank has become more affordable compared to last month. Depending on the size of the tank, you'll pay between AED 3.20 and AED 9.60 less for a full tank.
Before 2015, the government heavily subsidized fuel prices, keeping them stable. However, in September 2015, the prices were changed to match global oil prices. The Fuel Price Committee sets the fuel prices in the UAE, and we can expect more changes in the coming months.
UAE fuel prices for November 2024 have seen a slight increase after a period of decreases. With petrol prices now ranging from AED 2.55 to AED 2.74 per litre and diesel at AED 2.67, motorists will experience some changes in their fuel expenses.
