Nissan has officially introduced its all-new 1.0-liter turbocharged powertrain across the Middle East, debuting on the all-new Nissan Magnite SUV. The new powertrain is designed to promise balanced performance and impressive efficiency. It delivers 99 hp of power output and 152 Nm of torque, providing fuel efficiency of up to 17.3 km/l, making the Nissan Magnite with a 1.0-liter turbocharged engine ideal for those who need a compact car with adequate performance and fuel mileage.

At the core of Magnite’s new engine is mirror-bore cylinder coating technology, which has been borrowed from Nissan’s high-performance models. The mirror-bore cylinder coating has been recognized for reducing internal friction, enhancing heat management, and optimizing combustion. As a result, the drivers experience smoother power delivery and improved fuel efficiency on the drive. The Japanese automaker has paired its new engine with a refined CVT transmission that further enhances the driving experience by maximizing responsive acceleration and a relaxed, fuel-conscious drive.
Another highlight in this new configuration is the addition of Eco Scoring and Eco Coaching. These are digital features that offer real-time feedback to enable drivers to maximize every drop of fuel, making the Magnite not only dynamic but also sustainable.
Thierry Sabbagh, Division Vice President and President - Middle East, KSA, CIS, Nissan and INFINITI, emphasized that the debut of the new turbocharged powertrain on Magnite showcases the brand’s commitment to deliver innovation that directly benefits drivers. The engine is capable of elevating everyday driving by integrating acceleration, smooth handling, and greater efficiency. He also mentioned that the new powertrain will give customers confidence, comfort, and a dynamic driving experience in a compact SUV designed for the region.

Along with an innovative powertrain setup, the new Magnite also boasts several features like vehicle dynamic control, traction control, hill start assist, ABS with electronic brakeforce distribution, and cruise control with adjustable speed limiter. All these features ensure the drivers enjoy a smooth and safe ride on urban roads and highways.
The design of Nissan Magnite is compact and stylish, featuring signature honeycomb detailing, machine-cut alloy wheels, and styling across the exterior to make it stand out in the segment. Inside the cabin is a pleasing environment with a 7-inch advanced drive assist display and helpful tools like a 360-degree around view monitor, parking sensors, and elevated seat positioning that offer a 35.4-degree forward field of vision for improved road and object awareness. The cabin seems to be quiet and tech savvy as it packs Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, as well as a PlasmaCluster ionizer air conditioning system. The multi-color ambient lighting and stylish finishing touch across the interior further enhance the cabin environment.
The all-new Nissan Magnite Turo is available in S, SV, and SL trims, and the customers have five dual-tone and seven monotone exterior color options to choose from. The new Magnite with a 1.0-liter turbocharged engine is available across the Middle East, including the UAE, through its official partner networks across the region.
