Nissan N7, an electric sedan based on Dongfeng eπ 007, reportedly reached dealers in China before its official launch in May 2025. The EV features a sleek exterior design with futuristic elements, including totally refined headlights and alloy wheels, which enhance its overall look. With the launch of the N7 electric sedan, Nissan aims to boost sales in China. Its latest Nissan N7 has a 5-meter-long body and a capable powertrain that can produce up to 268 horsepower.

Nissan showcased its N7 at the Guangzhou Auto Show 2024 and is based on the previously launched Dongfeng eπ 007, which generated 29,915 sales units from March 2024 to February 2025. In January 2025, Nissan representatives announced the launch of its N7 sedan in China by May 2025. According to recent reports, several dealers across China have received the units of the Nissan N7 sedan.
The Dongfeng Nissan joint venture aims to manufacture sedans in China and is reportedly about to start delivering the latest N7 EVs to authorized dealerships. The electric sedan is said to feature frameless doors, seven-shaped interactive lights in the front corners, a running light strip, and a sleek roofline to add a futuristic stance. It also receives multi-spoke wheels, retractable door handles, and a single taillight unit.

The Nissan N7 interior boasts sporty front seats and wide headrests. It also has oval-shaped two-spoke steering wheels with a gear shifter behind them, an LCD instrument panel, and a large floating touchscreen. This Nissan EV has two pop-out speakers in the center console and a pair of wireless charging pads with two cup holders in the center. In the second row, Nissan has offered a third headrest and a central armrest.
The automaker has also offered a Qualcomm Snapdragon 829P chip paired with its Deepseek-R1 model. Nissan collaborated with Momenta to develop its driver assistance system, which can navigate the Autopilot function on highways and urban roads.

The Nissan N7 electric sedan measures 4930 mm in length, 1895 mm in width, and 1487 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2915 mm. It has two-wheel options, R17 and R19, but customers have only a single Dongfeng-made electric motor. The entry-level trims of the Nissan N7 produce 215 horsepower, while the higher-spec trims produce up to 268 horsepower. The battery pack for the Nissan N7 was designed and developed by the DongFeng-Sunwoda joint venture.
Regarding pricing, the Nissan N7 electric sedan will likely be priced between 160,000 to 180,000 yuan (approx. AED 81,500 to AED 91,500). Nissan N7 is specifically developed for Chinese customers, and there are no updates if this electric sedan will be sold in UAE or other global markets.
