If you want to renew your vehicle registration, pay parking fees, fines, or even recharge nol card, RTA’s new and intelligent kiosk has these services to offer you. The Road and Transport Authority has configured its new kiosk to offer 28 different types of digital services, mainly related to vehicle registration, parking, nol, and revenue management facilities like licensing, sales, and invoices.

The new-generation kiosk also offers various payment options for users, including cash, credit card, and payment through NFC technology on smartphones. The authority has introduced 32 kiosks with a new design and advanced features, ensuring user-friendliness and the capability to offer more customers without letting them face any trouble.
The machine has a big interactive screen with a fingerprint sensor, credit, debit, or Emirates ID insertion unit, keypad, and NFC tapping area. It’s installed in 21 different locations, including the main building of RTA, customer happiness centers, and major locations of the Emirate of Dubai.

The new kiosks are a successful example of RTA’s ability to streamline and improve customer experience using modern technologies. The program is helping the Dubai government to meet its objectives of the Hamdan bin Mohammed Smart Government Program for improving government services and ensuring necessary support to the people of the Emirates.
These machines can be equipped with automated and intelligent performance monitoring technology to monitor the performance of kiosks and provide services continuously. In 2021, RTA launched an initiative to upgrade the smart kiosks to develop and improve customer service by offering more personalized digital services.
Since then, the project has seen an incredible surge in demand and has been a success for the authority. The project also includes expanding the number of machines installed to serve more customers. As part of this program, around eight new kiosks were installed at six locations, while 24 were upgraded to improve their service capabilities.
