The Kia K4 sedan has already been launched in South Korea and is available in authorized showrooms nationwide. The Korean automobile manufacturer aims to launch the K4 electric sedan globally by the second half of 2025. Kia has revealed complete specification details of its newly launched C-segment electric sedan. It has a fresh exterior and interior design with various high-tech features, offering a top-end driving experience. The Kia has also confirmed introducing three trims for global markets, with some features and configuration enhancements to attract European and US customers.

Kia's electric sedan comes with a fresh and dynamic design with standard LED lighting to maintain a contemporary yet distinct appearance. It boasts optional Intelligent Front-Lighting System (IFS) technology for an enhanced driving experience and occupant safety.

There a small cube projection lamps and total internal reflection low-beam modules. The Kia K4 also features a floating taillight pattern with optional Dynamic Escort and Welcome Light, making it ideal for global markets.
Kia has confirmed the three trims for its K4 electric sedan. However, the European markets will likely receive Air, Earth, and GT-Line variants of K4 electric, while the US market will welcome Light, Wind, and GT-Line variants. It's interesting to see which variant lineup arrives in the UAE electric car market.

While the EV has a contemporary interior design, the cabin environment feels spacious and comprises various features to maximize drive comfort. It has ambient lighting, a dedicated rest mode, and a sliding table.

There is an ultra-slim layout of front seatbacks for maximum legroom space for second-row passengers. The HVAC system includes a unified touchscreen interface, ultra-slim air vents, and a slim-profile design to minimize the structural volume by 33%. The Kia E4 electric sedan's infotainment system uses advanced technology so drivers can feel more engaged on highways or long drives.

Kia has also offered a 6-speaker audio system, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and an optional 8-speaker Harman Kardon premium audio system. Additional tech features in the E4 sedan include advanced speech recognition, Digital Key 2.0, over-the-air updates, and Feature-on-Demand.
Kia K4 is based on E-GMP or Electric-Global Modular Platform, equipping a 400-volt architecture to maintain a balance between performance, range, and charging. Kia has launched the K4 electric sedan in two drivetrain options. The long-range variant comprises an 81.4 kWh battery pack, while the standard model has a 58.3 kWh battery. However, both options are paired with a 150kWh front-wheel drive motor that produces 283 Nm of torque.
The Korean automobile manufacturer has offered an i-Pedal 3.0 regenerative braking system for the first time in its electric car. This technology helps drivers strengthen the EV's regenerative braking capability and enjoy on-pedal driving. The second-generation Integrated Electric Booster (IEB) handles braking and the Electronic Parking Brake (EPB) also come as standard.
Additionally, the standard model delivers 430 km of range on a single charge, while the long-range variant offers up to 630 km of range. The standard variant takes 29 minutes to get charged from 10-80% on AC chargers, whereas the long-range model takes only 31 minutes. On DC charging, the variants get charged from 10-80% in 29 minutes and 31 minutes, respectively. The EV has vehicle-to-grid and vehicle-to-load features, making it a more practical car for family trips.

Kia K4 sedan comes with the Highway Driving Assist (HDA 2) system and ADAS suite, including Intelligent Speed Limit Assist, Lane Following Assist, Driver Attention Warning, and Remote Parking Assist. Additionally, the K4 has a Direct Grip Detection System (HOD) and a 12-inch Windshield Head-up Display.
