MG Motor Middle East has launched the all-new MG RAKAN, marking a major milestone for the brand in the region. Unveiled in late January 2026 (with initial rollout starting in markets like Kuwait), the RAKAN is MG's first production model to carry an official Arabic name and its first fully dedicated, capable 4x4 SUV.
The name "RAKAN" draws from the Arabic word Rukn (meaning pillar, foundation, strength, or resilience), symbolizing durability and cultural connection. This isn't a limited-edition badge it's a permanent addition to MG's Middle East lineup, reflecting the brand's strategy to blend global engineering with strong regional identity.

The RAKAN features a commanding, muscular stance with over 5 meters in length, bold grille, LED lighting, and high ground clearance (around 246 mm). It offers three-row seating for up to 7 passengers and massive cargo space (up to 2,400 liters with rear rows folded).
