Mercedes-Benz has unveiled the AMG CLE53 Coupe, their newest coupe with amazing looks and a strong heart. Mercedes-Benz has now given the CLE Coupe, which blends the C-Class and E-Class coupe hierarchy, the AMG treatment, providing performance car buyers with an additional option. The CLE Coupe was introduced several months ago.
The 3.0-liter straight-six AMG engine, which is twin-turbocharged and assisted by an integrated starter-generator (ISG) to enable mild hybrid technology, powers the CLE53 Coupe. The engine is mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission, and the 4Matic+ AWD system distributes power to all four wheels. Rear-wheel steering is equipped on the performance coupe for agile maneuvering.
Twin-valve dampers and AMG's Ride Control technology are featured in the suspension to support the enormous power and deliver nimble handling.
An aggressive new front bumper with the iconic Panamericana grille gives the CLE53 Coupe the full AMG treatment. Driving ahead is made brighter by LED headlamps with optional AMG Digital Light features. A bolder and more assured appearance on the road is provided by the car's wider tracks at the front and back.
Other AMG details:
The 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster and 11.9-inch central display inside the CLE53 AMG Coupe are identical to those of the standard coupe. Although Nappa leather upholstery is an option, the standard seats are upholstered in MB-Tex and microfiber. Customers can choose to add well-bolstered seats, an AMG steering wheel with a flat bottom covered in Nappa leather, and aluminum paddle shifters by selecting the optional AMG Performance Seat package.
Situated between the 402 horsepower C43 sedan and the 677 horsepower C63, the CLE 53 Coupe is designed for maximum power output. The 2L hybrid engine in these two sedans, however, is aided by hybrid technology in different ways.
