McLaren's next hypercar, called the W1, is expected to be the successor to the P1 and will debut on October 6.
The new McLaren will use a naming format with a letter followed by the number one, linking it to the F1 and P1 models, symbolizing its place in McLaren's top road car lineup.

The car's official name hasn't been announced yet and is currently called P18, which likely won't be its final name. Like the F1 and P1, it will have '1' in its name.
