At the Auto China event in Beijing, Mazda introduced its newest electric vehicle, the EZ-6, which was developed in partnership with Changan Mazda specifically for the Chinese market.
The Mazda EZ-6 is set to replace the combustion-powered Mazda 6 sedan. It features an electric drive system and will be available in both plug-in hybrid and battery-electric (BEV) versions. The BEV is expected to have a range of around 600 kilometers, with detailed technical specifications for both versions to be revealed later. Reports suggest that the plug-in hybrid variant might function as a range extender, using its combustion engine to generate onboard electricity.
