This joint venture between Lotus and CaoCao has introduced an innovative, intelligent mobility platform for robotaxis, a breakthrough in intelligent mobility solutions for the ride-hailing industry.

Under this strategic partnership, CaoCao Mobility is leveraging Lotus Robotics’s advanced intelligent driving solution and vast operational expertise in large-scale ride-hailing services to enhance the deployment of intelligent ride-hailing services across China and later in other markets. With CaoCao Mobility’s network including 35,000 enterprises in 57 cities, Lotus Robotics, with its proven intelligent driving platform, sees this partnership as the first player to take advantage in the intelligent mobility sector.
On February 28, 2024, CaoCao Mobility organized a launch event for its CaoCao Zhixing Autonomous Driving Platform, highlighting the successful deployment of China’s first intelligent driving ecosystem. This advanced technology platform integrates intelligent manufacturing, intelligent driving technology, and intelligent operations.
Based on recent reports, CaoCao’s robotaxi with Lotus Robotics’ intelligent driving system has started pilot testing in Suzhou and Hangzhou. The pilot program aims to see the feasibility of scaled commercial deployment of robotaxi services, a significant milestone achieved in autonomous mobility solutions.
Lotus Robotics collaborates with local partners like Aramco Digital in the GCC region to explore global expansion opportunities. Lotus Robotics has continued pioneering industry-leading innovation with its capable and advanced mapless Urban Navigate on Autopilot and high-precision navigation capabilities, which are already scheduled for global deployment in the fourth quarter of this year.
Previously, Lotus Robotics announced that it provides end-to-end intelligent driving solutions to Lotus brand intelligent vehicles and other global automakers like Lynk & Co, Farizon Auto, and a major European automaker.
