Automobili Lamborghini once again proved its design excellence by winning the prestigious 2025 Red Dot Awards, securing recognition for all three models in its hybrid lineup. In the 2025 Red Dot Awards event, the Lamborghini received the Best of the Best title for its Revuelto in the Product Design category. Along with the Revuelto, the Lamborghini Urus SE and Temerario have also been selected for the Red Dot Awards, showcasing the brand’s capabilities in combining cutting-edge innovation with legendary performance.
Lamborghini’s Design Director, Mitja Borkert, stated that this prestigious recognition confirms the passion and determination of the Centro Stile team in their creative work. For over 20 years, the in-house design studio has been dedicated to strengthening the brand’s unique design DNA.
With approximately seven decades of history, the Red Dot Design Award is known as one of the most prestigious design competitions. It recognizes outstanding innovation in industrial design across three categories: Product Design, Brands & Communication Design, and Design Concept. This year’s awards event will take place on July 8 at the Aalto Theater in Essen, Germany.
Lamborghini always focuses on a unique and stylish design profile for its models. The iconic styling elements for Lamborghini vehicles are crafted at the Centro Stile design department, located in Sant’Agata Bolognese, Italy. The in-house team shapes every line, surface, and curve to showcase the brand’s bold, sculpted, and dynamic essence.
Lamborghini’s first-ever HPEV hybrid super sports car is designed to set a new benchmark in performance and design, making it an ideal addition to the collections of luxury car collectors and automotive enthusiasts who seek thrilling track driving experiences. It features an innovative carbon fiber frame, advanced aerodynamics, and a 1015 hp powertrain using a new combustion engine with three electric motors. The HPEV also features Lamborghini’s model, mated with the first-ever 12-cylinder double-clutch gearbox, delivering improved driving dynamics with hybrid efficiency.
Falling in the super sports car category, Lamborghini Temerario comes with a 920 horsepower powertrain setup, featuring a twin-turbo V8 hybrid engine developed entirely at Sant’Agata Bolognese. The engine reaches 10,000 RPM, delivering unmatched power and constant torque, which results in improved acceleration. It strikes a balance between exhilarating track performance and comfort and spaciousness.
Lamborghini Urus is one of the popular models from the Italian super sports car manufacturer, and its hybrid version, Lamborghini Urus SE PHEV, gained recognition at the 2025 Red Dot Awards. The model features an 800-horsepower hybrid powertrain that utilizes both thermal and electric power to deliver unmatched torque and efficiency, setting new performance standards in the Super SUV segment. The Urus SE also features enhanced aerodynamics, advanced technology, and refined design elements, offering maximum driving comfort and versatile performance.
