Kia debuted the 2026 EV9 GT, a performance-oriented version of its three-row electric SUV, at the 2024 Los Angeles Auto Show.

The 2026 Kia EV9 GT features a dual-motor e-AWD system with a 270-kW rear motor and a 160-kW front motor, delivering 501 horsepower—122 more than the EV9 GT-Line. It's Kia's most powerful three-row SUV, accelerating from 0 to 60 mph in just 4.3 seconds.
The EV9 GT introduces Kia's first electronically controlled suspension, adjusting brake response, shock damping, and steering based on drive modes. GT Mode, activated via a dedicated button, enhances performance by optimizing suspension stiffness while preserving everyday comfort.

The 2026 Kia EV9 GT features a virtual gear shift system, simulating gear changes with sound and tactile feedback through Active Sound Design (e-ASD). Paddle shifters allow manual control, while an electronic Limited Slip Differential (e-LSD) boosts stability. It also offers a 5,000-pound towing capacity and 7.8 inches of ground clearance.
The Kia EV9 GT features sporty styling, including alloy wheels, redesigned front and rear bumpers, lime green interior accents, and Alcantara-trimmed sports seats.

It includes a Tesla-style North American Charging Standard port for Supercharger access. With 800-volt fast charging, it charges from 10% to 80% in under 25 minutes. The range is yet to be disclosed.

The 2026 Kia EV9 GT is expected to launch in 2025. While pricing remains unconfirmed, industry estimates suggest it will cost over $80,000 (AED 293,841.20).
The 2026 Kia EV9 GT sets a new benchmark for performance in Kia's electric lineup, combining impressive power, advanced technology, and luxury features. With its dual-motor setup, sporty design, and innovative enhancements like adaptive suspension and fast charging, it redefines expectations for three-row electric SUVs.
