Kia Middle East and Africa launched the Kia EV5 in Rabat, Morocco, highlighting a new chapter for sustainable mobility in the region. Over 100 fleet companies and media representatives from nine markets attended, showcasing Kia's commitment to eco-friendly transportation and its strategic focus on leading the regional transition to green vehicles.

Kia Middle East & Africa President SooHang Chang said the EV5 launch in Morocco reflects the company's dedication to sustainable mobility. He emphasized that this event signals a major move toward a greener future for the nine represented markets and Morocco, with plans for more launches soon.
The EV5 includes Advanced Driver Assistance features like Remote Smart Parking Assist and Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist, along with a high-tech interior featuring mood lighting and dual 12.3-inch panoramic displays.
The Kia EV5 features a bold, boxy exterior with a striking front and sleek lines, giving it a strong road presence. Senior Designer Jae Yeoun Park emphasized its spacious interior and unique design, highlighting its strength and reliability in the MEA region. Inside, the EV5 offers relaxation seats, a versatile rear table, and a heated/cooled trunk box, with eco-friendly materials like BTX-free paint for a luxurious feel.

The EV5 provides up to 550 km range per charge, delivering 310 hp, with AWD and 2WD options. It has 88.1 kWh and 64.2 kWh batteries and charges from 30% to 80% in just 27 minutes.
The Kia EV5 is priced between USD 45,000 (AED 165,290) and USD 54,000 (AED 198,331).
