Jeep has unveiled the new Wrangler Sarge, a special-edition off-roader that pays homage to the iconic 1941 Willys MB military vehicle. Introduced as part of Jeep’s “Twelve of Twelve” initiative, the Wrangler Sarge blends classic military-inspired styling with modern off-road technology, creating one of the brand’s most distinctive special editions yet.
The Wrangler Sarge immediately stands out with its unique military-themed appearance. The highlight is the exclusive ‘41 Green paint finish, inspired by the original Willys MB used during World War II. Depending on the chosen exterior colour, buyers can also opt for contrasting white or green roof and grille combinations that reinforce its vintage military character.
Additional styling upgrades include a 1941 hood decal, military-inspired door graphics, bronze tow hooks, body-coloured fender flares, steel Rubicon roof rails, and exclusive 17-inch wheels finished in matching ‘41 Green paint. Together, these details give the Wrangler Sarge a rugged, nostalgic personality while maintaining the modern appeal of the current Wrangler.
Inside, Jeep has retained the familiar Wrangler layout but introduced several unique touches. Buyers can choose between Cattle Tan and Drab Green interior themes, both designed to complement the exterior styling.
Special “Soul Seats” feature custom upholstery inspired by the military theme, while Mayan Gold contrast stitching, a commemorative 1941 cupholder plate, star-shaped gear lever medallion, seven-slot vent detailing, and a rear swing gate plaque add to the limited-edition feel.
Unlike many cosmetic special editions, the Wrangler Sarge also receives meaningful functional upgrades. Standard models feature aggressive 33-inch BF Goodrich KO2 tyres designed to tackle sand, mud, gravel, and rough terrain with ease.
The Rubicon-based version takes capability even further with Jeep’s Rock-Trac 4x4 system, heavy-duty Dana 44 axles, electronic locking differentials, and an electronic sway-bar disconnect system, making it one of the most capable factory-built off-roaders available.
Jeep offers the Wrangler Sarge with a choice of powertrains, including a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine producing 272 hp and 400 Nm, a 3.6-litre Pentastar V6 generating 285 hp and 352 Nm, and an optional 6.4-litre HEMI V8 delivering a massive 470 hp.
Alongside the Wrangler, Jeep has also introduced the Gladiator Sarge pickup, featuring the same military-inspired styling and off-road upgrades while adding greater practicality through its cargo bed.
| Jeep Wrangler Sarge Engine Options | Power | Torque |
|---|---|---|
| 2.0L Turbo Petrol | 272 hp | 400 Nm |
| 3.6L Pentastar V6 | 285 hp | 352 Nm |
| 6.4L HEMI V8 | 470 hp | Not Disclosed |
Jeep has confirmed that the Wrangler Sarge will be sold in limited numbers in the United States. While there is currently no confirmation of a UAE or Middle East launch, the special edition showcases Jeep’s rich heritage and continues to celebrate the legacy of one of the most influential off-road vehicles ever built.
