Jaguar C-X75, a concept known for its futuristic design, is being transformed into a street-legal supercar by Callum, inspired by a James Bond stunt car.
Departing from its original hybrid setup, the C-X75 will feature a supercharged 5.0-liter V8 engine.
After modifications by Callum, it becomes the only road-legal C-X75 in the UK among the surviving stunt cars.
Engineering upgrades include new catalytic converters, revised engine calibration, and aesthetic refinements for road legality.
The Jaguar C-X75 concept, renowned for its cutting-edge powertrain and futuristic aesthetics, transforms a road-legal supercar by Callum, a UK-based company led by Ian Callum. This initiative draws inspiration from one of the stunt cars featured in the James Bond film Spectre, originally constructed in 2015 by Williams Advanced Engineering.

The converted C-X75 will deviate from the original hybrid configuration, opting for a supercharged 5.0-liter V8 engine akin to the powertrain in the F-Type R Coupe. In 2024, the fortunate owner of the Jaguar C-X75 sought Callum's expertise to transform it into a road-legal vehicle in the UK. Callum's team performed essential modifications and introduced several enhancements to the prototype, elevating its status to that of a coveted collector's item.

Set to debut at the Bicester Heritage Scramble on April 21, the revamped C-X75 represents one of the four surviving stunt cars from Jaguar C-X75. Following extensive modifications by Callum, the transformed C-X75 now stands as the sole vehicle in the UK officially authorized for road use.

To comply with UK road regulations and achieve Individual Vehicle Approval, the Jaguar C-X75 underwent modifications by engineers, including the installation of new catalytic converters, adjustments to the engine calibration, and enhancements to the exhaust system. Additionally, foam wing mirrors were exchanged for functional ones, and updated switchgear was integrated to meet road legal requirements. The vehicle's appearance was refined with refurbished carbon fiber finishes, minimized panel gaps, and the removal of quick-release latches.
Verdict
The transformation of the Jaguar C-X75 supercar into a road-legal vehicle by Callum represents a remarkable feat of engineering and design. Through meticulous modifications and upgrades, the iconic concept car has attained street legality in the UK, marking a significant milestone in its journey from concept to reality.
