iCAUR V27 Full-Size Electric SUV to Launch Soon in UAE

In the UAE’s highly diversified and already competitive automotive industry, a new brand is aiming to make its debut and target building a solid customer base in the electric vehicle segment. This new energy vehicle brand is iCAUR, jointly backed by Chery’s global automotive expertise and Smartmi’s internet-native design thinking, part of the Xiaomi ecosystem.

Chery is one of the biggest automobile exporters in China, and its backing benefits iCAUR with technical and production expertise. On the other hand, Smartmi (a Xiaomi-affiliated brand) aid brand with design and tech side, ensuring its vehicles remain fast, user-centered, and implement customer feedback over time by also ensuring minimalist tech design.

iCAUR V27

iCAUR is preparing to make its UAE debut with the launch of the V27 full-size SUV, which is designed considering the regional preferences. It features a boxy design, ample interior space, and practical tech features. The iCAUR V27 SUV has about 5 meters of overall length and a large bumper with pronounced wheel arches, adding to its rugged and durable profile. The electric vehicle runs on generously sized black alloy wheels that also complement its enhanced road presence.

In the front, the model features a rectangular headlight setup with integrated circular LED DRLs, providing a little retro-modern look. There are also oversized side mirrors for better visibility and utilitarian design. On the rear, it has side side-hinged tailgate with integrated storage box, vertical tail light clusters, and a compact roof spoiler.

As part of the brand’s modular strategy, the iCAUR V27 offers personalized upgrades, allowing users to contribute to the growth of the brand’s vehicles. Customers also have options to select a variety of accessories directly from the brand to make their vehicles even more personalized and stand out.

iCAUR V23

Showcased at the Beijing Motor Show last year, iCAUR V23 is a retro-themed subcompact SUV with classic 4x4 aesthetics. The model comes in single-motor RWD and dual-motor AWD configurations, providing a driving range of 300 to 500 km on a single charge. This electric SUV from iCAUR also has a boxy design and impressive ground clearance of 210 mm and 43-degree/41-degree approach and departure angles.

Based on the available information, iCAUR is soon planning to open its first showroom in the UAE. Initially, the Chinese automotive company will introduce iCAUR V27 with more models to arrive in the coming years.
