Hyundai has revealed the Ioniq 9, a flagship three-row electric SUV, designed to meet the growing demand for spacious, family-friendly EVs in its Ioniq lineup.

The Ioniq 9 features cutting-edge tech, advanced systems, and Hyundai's signature EV performance. It will debut at the LA Auto Show from November 22 to December 1.
Equipped with a 110.3kWh battery, the Long-Range RWD variant offers up to 620 km (WLTP) on 19-inch wheels. Built on Hyundai's E-GMP platform, it supports both 800V and 400V charging, reaching 10-80% in 24 minutes with a 350kW charger. The SUV also includes a vehicle-to-load (V2L) function for powering external devices.

The Ioniq 9 comes in Performance and Long-Range (RWD/AWD) versions. The LR RWD delivers 218 hp, while the LR AWD adds a 95 hp front motor. The Performance trim, with dual motors, generates around 436 hp, accelerating from 0-100 kph in 5.2 seconds and reaching a top speed of 200 kph.
It measures 1,790 mm in height, 1,980 mm in width, and 5,060 mm in length, with a 3,130 mm wheelbase. Its 0.259 Cd drag coefficient slightly surpasses the Mercedes EQS SUV.

The Ioniq 9 showcases an upright tailgate, rounded front, and Parametric Pixel LED headlights. It comes standard with 19-inch wheels, with optional 20 and 21-inch sizes, and offers seven interior finishes and 16 exterior colors.
It includes wind stability control, dynamic torque vectoring, and Terrain Traction Control with Auto Terrain Mode, adjusting to various road conditions. A trailer mode ensures 50:50 torque distribution, allowing towing up to 2,500 kg.

The Ioniq 9 features six- and seven-seat configurations, offering up to 2,050 mm of legroom and 1,899 mm of headroom in the second and third rows. The first two rows include a massage function, and when parked, the second-row swivel seats can face the third row. An adjustable "Universal Island 2.0" console provides up to 18.2 liters of storage space.

The Ioniq 9 provides up to 620 liters of cargo space, expandable to 1,323 liters with the third row folded. The RWD model includes an 88-liter frunk, while the AWD version offers 52 liters.
Inside, it features a 12-inch digital instrument cluster, 12-inch infotainment screen, multi-zone climate control, 14-speaker Bose audio, ambient lighting, 10 airbags, and advanced driver-assistance systems.

The Hyundai Ioniq 9 is set to launch in the U.S. and South Korea in early 2025, with plans to reach European and other global markets afterward.
