Hyundai Motor Company revealed the Ioniq 5 N NPX1 concept car at the Tokyo Auto Salon. This concept draws inspiration from the high-performance version of the award-winning Ioniq 5, highlighting Hyundai's commitment to advancing the realms of electric vehicle performance and design.

As a conceptual vehicle, the NPX1 encapsulates the car manufacturer's outlook on the future of electric mobility. It provides a glimpse into the possible enhancements and updates that could be incorporated into the Ioniq 5 N soon. In a swiftly changing automotive landscape with evolving technology, Hyundai aims to stay at the forefront by introducing these innovative concept models.
The Hyundai Ioniq 5 N NPX1 displayed N-specific upgrades at the event, including lightweight carbon wheels, racing bucket seats, carbon exterior elements, an Alcantara interior, and high-performance brakes.
The components featured on the IONIQ 5 N NPX1 concept are currently in prototype status, with plans for further development before their official release in 2024. Hyundai N intends to extend the availability of N Performance Parts to all N models, commencing with the acclaimed high-performance vehicle, the Ioniq 5 N.
Demonstrated by the 'NPX1' concept, Hyundai strives to establish itself as a frontrunner in high-performance electric vehicle tuning. Venturing into software customization through over-the-air updates, the automaker is delving into tuning parts and introducing vehicle and sound calibration through this technology. This strategic initiative aims to fortify Hyundai's standing in the swiftly advancing landscape of high-performance electric vehicles.
