Honda Thailand confirmed the facelifted HR-V will debut on November 28 at the Thailand International Motor Expo. They also shared preview images that were earlier shown in Japan.

The vehicle that has been showcased is the Honda HR-V e RS, which comes with refreshed styling elements like a broader trapezoidal grille with chrome accents, redesigned LED headlights, and a relocated RS and Honda badge. These updates make it stand out from the previous RS model, which came with a more vertical grille having chrome pins.

The facelifted HR-V features full-width taillights, new alloy wheel designs, and a connecting light bar. It also offers a new Sand Khaki Pearl color with a black roof. Inside, it now has a larger 8-inch touchscreen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

The facelifted HR-V keeps the same powertrain, featuring a 1.5-liter Atkinson cycle engine paired with an e-CVT and two electric motors. It delivers 131 PS and 253 Nm of torque, with a claimed fuel efficiency of 25.6 km/l. The engine works as a generator, while a larger motor powers the front wheels, with a lock-up clutch for direct drive at high speeds.

Though the facelifted HR-V will debut in Thailand this year, Honda fans in the UAE may have to wait longer, as it's not expected to launch there soon.
