The third Gulf Historic Dubai GP Revival took place over the weekend, filling the Dubai Autodrome with the deafening roar of vintage racecar engines. Four different racing categories were represented in this symphony of speed and skill honoring the golden era of motor racing.
With vintage race cars and the legends who drove them, the motorsports event with a 1970s theme brought back some incredible memories. To begin, let us discuss the weekend's Dubai GP race winners:

In addition to these four classes, Formula 1 cars from the 1990s were on display during the historic motorsport event. Nicholas Prost and Stefan Johansson drove these V12 screamers.
Fans of the Gulf Historic Dubai GP were also treated to a nostalgic sight: Alain Prost, a four-time world champion in Formula One, was racing a 1991 Ferrari 643.

The rarest and most fascinating vintage cars in Dubai were on display in two heart-pounding demonstration runs under the new Dubai Classics category, which brought a touch of automotive magic. Among the stunning collection were a 1993 Lamborghini Diablo, a 1931 Alfa Romeo 6C 1750 GS, and a Ferrari Dino 308 GT4.
Beyond the squealing tires and heart-pounding races, spectators and guests reveled in an unrestrained entertainment environment with a 1970s theme. The festival-style paddock offered a distinctive motor racing experience, complete with music, hospitality, and close access to teams and drivers. The vibrant atmosphere and breathtaking panoramic views were provided by the Apex Garden.

The founder of GP Extreme, Frédéric Fatien, expressed his happiness with the event's outcome. The Gulf Historic Dubai GP Revival 2023 was the largest and best-attended event to date, drawing in over 16,000 attendees.
He continued, saying, "I want to thank all of our amazing drivers, partners, and teams who help make this event what it is; without them, it just would not be possible. We are excited to welcome thousands of visitors to more historic racing events in 2024. Thank you for joining us over the course of these three days.
It seemed as though time had stood still as this amazing historic motorsport weekend came to an end. Fans relived the fantastic era of racing and reveled in the nostalgia of vintage racecars.

It was the experience of a lifetime to watch the legends speed around the Autodrome in cars that were screaming and revving. The Gulf Historic Dubai GP Revival 2023 cemented its reputation as a top event for fans of classic cars and vintage motorsports by skillfully fusing spectacular on-track action with an engrossing off-track experience.
