GMC has introduced a special edition of its flagship pickup, the GMC Sierra JIMS Edition, with some design styling tailored for the Middle East. Branded as "JIMS" in the region, the pickup truck celebrates the lifestyle and rugged landscape of the GCC region with distinctive exterior design and off-road-specific upgrades.

Like the Sierra Elevation trim, the JIMS Edition gets a 5.3-liter V8 engine that produces 355 horsepower and 583 Nm of torque. The special edition features a similar profile to standard models and a comprehensive set of custom features.
On the exterior, the pickup features unique decals inspired by the topography of the Middle East, special badging on the grille exclusive to this special edition, and a customized tailgate. There are also sports-specific bold custom moldings, upgraded off-road wheels, and an exclusive design finish to add to its more aggressive look.
The GMC Sierra JIMS Edition is not a regular upgrade but a limited-run offering from the company. It is specially designed for serious off-road drives with 18-inch standard (22-inch optional) alloy wheels, dual exhaust outlets, and underbody skid plates.
Inside the cabin, the pickup features a 12.3-inch digital driver display and a 13.4-inch infotainment touchscreen. GMC has offered its OnStar system along with 24/7 advisor support and emergency assistance across the region.
GMC has stated that the JIMS Edition is a tribute to drivers' adventurous spirit and resilience in the Middle East region. The pickup also has exclusive collectibles and limited-edition accessories for off-road and automobile enthusiasts.
The GMC Sierra JIMS Edition is available in dealerships across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, and Qatar.

UAE car buyers must evaluate new technologies like AEB, adaptive cruise control, and EV charging features. Not all advanced systems are standard, and equipment varies by model and trim. Confirm feature availability before purchase.
