Geely has revealed its Galaxy A7 EM-i plug-in electric vehicle. The Galaxy A7 EM-i PHEV boasts an impressive range of over 2,100 km. Along with extended range capabilities, the Geely Galaxy A7 sedan also features a futuristic design, a premium interior, and unmatched practicality. The Chinese automotive company has focused on integrating advanced technology with unmistakable design language, ensuring the plug-in hybrid sedan has a futuristic style.

Geely’s Galaxy A7 EM-i is powered by NordThor EM-i hybrid technology, which comprises a 1.5-liter petrol engine and a single electric motor paired with a lithium iron phosphate battery. The petrol engine can produce 110 horsepower and potent torque for smooth acceleration. The automaker has offered two battery pack options, offering a pure electric range of 60 km and 130 km, respectively.

With this option, customers can select the ideal Geely Galaxy A7 EM-i variant based on their driving preferences. The brand has claimed that the premium segment sedan delivers 50 km/l of fuel mileage on petrol-engine driving.

The plug-in electric sedan inside the cabin features a large digital instrument cluster and a floating center infotainment display. The automaker has also equipped the sedan with physical controls for media and A/C controls on the center console.

Talking about design dimensions, the EV measures 4,918 mm in length, 1,905 mm in width, 1,495 mm in height, and 2,845 mm in wheelbase, ensuring ample space for all occupants and luggage. The all-new Geely Galaxy A7 EM-i PHEV is offered in China only with a starting price of 100,000 yuan (approx. AED 51,060).

In the UAE, Geely has a significant market share and has a range of models available for sale. Considering the positive response for Geely cars in the UAE, it's likely the Chinese automaker can launch its all-new Galaxy A7 EM-i in the country. If the model launches, it will be positioned above the Geely Preface and rival with BYD Seal DM-i.
