The Geely vehicle distributor in the UAE, AGMC, has officially launched Geely Monjaro in the region. It's the flagship Geely SUV based on advanced compact modular architecture (CMA), offering cutting-edge technology, performance, intelligence, and efficiency at a low price.

Geely Monjaro is one of the most advanced SUVs introduced by Geely Auto, equipped with several advanced features like Highway Assisted Driving that keeps monitoring the vehicle's surroundings and automatically changes lanes. The vehicle is also equipped with a 540-degree surround view and a 4-cylinder 2.0-liter turbo engine capable of delivering 235 HP and 350 Nm of torque that comes mated with an 8-speed automatic transmission.

The Monjaro was launched in a special color scheme to make the occasion memorable. The color scheme includes a stylish Matte Grey exterior and Caramel interior finish. The new launch of Monjaro is priced from AED 123,900 for GK trim, AED 133,900 for GF trim, and AED 138,900 for GF+ trims. There are two exclusive color options for UAE customers: Matte Grey and Turquoise Blue.

The new launch includes a three-year finance package at 0.99%, free registration, and window tinting. There is a five-year or 100,000km service contract and a five-year or 150,000 km warranty.

Understanding CMA Architecture

The new Monjaro sits on a sophisticated CMA platform, a 1610 mm wide wheel track, and a 2845 mm wheelbase, enabling a strong and spacious interior. There are custom suedes within the interior that give little luxury vibes. The seats are weaved with Chinese elements, including classical knots.

The Geely SUV packs a panoramic, integrated cockpit space with three screens for a visually immersive experience. Moreover, these technology integrations are also equipped with intelligent human-machine interaction features.

There are 10-speaker BOSE premium sound systems, and it's equipped with harmonic noise reduction technology and double-layer soundproofing. The carmaker has offered customizable interior lighting options that can change based on drive modes.

Geely Monjaro Performance

The new Monjaro is capable of delivering exceptional off-road performance. It comes mated with BorgWarner's sixth-generation 4WD system, which has a 50:50 front/rear torque distribution capacity. Users can use different drive modes like energy-efficient ECO mode, refined NORM mode, Speedy SPORT Mode, and OFFROAD mode.

The vehicle is powered by a 2.0-liter turbo direct injection engine, co-developed by Volvo and Geely, and can make up 235 HP of power output and 350 Nm of maximum torque, configured with an Aisin 8-speed automatic transmission.

According to reports, the SUV can sprint 0-100 kmph in 7.7 seconds. For safety, there is a blind spot, forward collision warning, emergency stopper, ABS, and ISOFIX baby seats. The SUV also includes a 540-degree transparent chassis to monitor the complex conditions underneath the chassis.
