Foxtron, Foxconn's automotive division, has introduced an electric people mover concept named the ‘Model D.’ Foxconn is well-known for producing Apple products, like the iPhone.

This model seeks to transform urban transportation by providing an eco-friendly and spacious option for groups and families.
The vehicle is designed by Pininfarina, an Italian car styling brand known for working with top names like Alfa Romeo, Ferrari, Ford, and Peugeot, ensuring it looks great and is practical.

According to Foxtron, the Model D can travel up to 400 miles (643 km) on a full charge and comes with a 100-120 kW lithium-iron-phosphate (LFP) battery. This seven-seater electric people mover measures 1,995 mm wide, 5,195 mm long, and 1,785 mm high.
Inside, the Model D offers a 2+2+3 seating layout, along with a widescreen infotainment touchscreen and a digital display on the dashboard. It also includes two extra touchscreens for the second-row seats. The Foxtron Model D could start production in the next two years, possibly under a different name like the Model C.

The Model D electric people mover is the third vehicle designed by Pininfarina for Foxtron, following the Model E electric sedan concept revealed in 2021. Pininfarina states that the Model E can reach a maximum range of 750 km and offers 750 horsepower.
The Model B, designed to compete with the Kia Niro and Jeep Avenger, was presented as a "production version" at the 2024 Geneva Motor Show. It has a claimed maximum range of 500 km, but Foxtron has not provided any launch details for these models yet.
Foxtron's unveiling of the Model D electric people mover marks a significant step in urban transportation, combining innovative design by Pininfarina with eco-friendly features. With a spacious interior and advanced technology, the Model D aims to meet the needs of families and groups while promoting sustainability.
This model, alongside Foxtron's other concepts like the Model E and Model B, showcases the company's commitment to developing versatile electric vehicles. While production timelines remain uncertain, Foxtron's collaboration with a renowned styling brand sets a promising foundation for the future of electric mobility.
