The 42-story Dubai skyscraper, which will feature two garage-to-penthouse car lifts, is the product of luxury car manufacturer Bugatti's first venture into residential real estate.
The Bugatti Residences will be the first residential structure bearing the name of the automaker, having been developed in collaboration with Dubai developer Binghatti.
With Bentley building a 61-story skyscraper in Miami Beach and Aston Martin designing an angular black home in New York as part of its Automotive Galleries and Lairs service, which debuted in 2019, Bugatti is the newest luxury car brand to enter the residential market.
The 42-story skyscraper, which is expected to be constructed in Dubai's Business Bay neighborhood, will have balconies encircling its sinuous shape on each floor.
The developer has named the complex Riviera Mansions, with 171 apartments and 11 penthouses known as Sky Mansion Penthouses.
The developer claims that the building's form and interior design are inspired by the history of the upscale automobile brand, which was founded in 1909.
"Known for their unwavering and uncompromising commitment towards excellence, Bugatti and Binghatti – two visionary brands – have unveiled their first collaboration: a ground-breaking real estate development in the heart of Dubai," Bugatti stated.
The two esteemed brands are working together to create synergies that exceed expectations in quality. The Bugatti and Binghatti partnership project is centered around a painstakingly designed structure with a unique facade that is complemented by intricately designed interiors, drawing upon the rich and varied creative histories of both brands."
The skyscraper will feature a pool at the top, and each apartment will have a distinct shape and access to a curved balcony.
Two car lifts from the garage to the penthouse will service the penthouses, enabling owners to drive their cars right up to the apartments. This is similar to Bentley's skyscraper in Miami, which will have a car lift that lets residents drive their cars right into every floor of apartments.
A "Riviera-inspired beach," a members club, and a private spa are also planned features of the development.
The brands claim that the design will feature elements of the French Riviera's aesthetic.
"The two brands have infused every facet of the development with the unique flair of the French Riviera. A feeling of exuberance spreads as soon as one steps inside the residences, bringing residents to the picturesque area that has long captivated the interests of sophisticated living enthusiasts," according to Bugatti.
"In the same way that Bugatti has translated the beauty and sophistication of French luxury into the design of its hyper sports cars, Bugatti Residences brings the breeze and feel of the French Riviera into this private oasis," it said.
"In its organically sculpted design, Bugatti Residences by Binghatti manifests the beauty of the Riviera's spirit and flair."
