The A2RL Autonomous Formula 1, the world’s most advanced self-driving sports car, has also made a regional debut at EFMS 2025. It is capable of exceeding 340 km/h of top speed and can operate without a human driver, and is entirely powered by advanced AI-driving perception, decision-making, and control systems.
At the core of A2RL Formula 1 is cutting-edge technology that combines LiDAR, radar, and visual computing technologies to ensure human-level racing precision. Each lap showcases millions of calculations per second, highlighting how machine learning and data-driven engineering can outperform human reflexes in real-world scenarios.
The exhibition also offers an interactive Formula 1 simulator, identical in structure and dynamics to a rear cockpit, giving visitors an immersive experience of what it takes to control a high-speed race car.
