Lamborghini has announced that the Dubai Police has acquired the Urus Performante, which will serve as a patrol car. This collaboration signifies a partnership between the Dubai law enforcement agency and the distinguished Italian luxury car manufacturer.

At a special ceremony during the Dubai Airshow 2023, the Dubai Police Acting Commander-in-Chief Major General Ahmed Mohammed bin Thani received the keys to a distinctive Urus Performante from Automobili Lamborghini. Paolo Sartori, Lamborghini's Regional Head for Africa and the Middle East highlighted the vehicle's potential to bolster city security and play a crucial role in public safety. This unique edition Urus is designated for various public duties.
The Lamborghini Urus Performante has a twin-turbo V8 engine that generates 656 horsepower and 850 Nm of torque. It can accelerate from zero to 100 mph in a mere 3.3 seconds and boasts a top speed of 306 mph.

Following modifications for police use, the vehicle now showcases law enforcement logos, the iconic white and green color scheme, a rear spoiler with an electric siren, and a blue 360-degree LED light bar.
The unique Lamborghini Urus Performante has undergone customization in its passenger compartment, incorporating essential police equipment such as an armored gun box, a dedicated boot compartment for service gear, a fold-down message display, and a defibrillator for first aid response. The integration of this high-performance Super SUV into the Dubai Police fleet is intended to improve patrol capabilities and safeguard the security of both tourists and residents throughout Dubai.
