Denso Corporation has recognized challenges like labor shortages and inconsistent standards in automotive recycling. Through its involvement in the pilot project, Denso intends to tackle these issues by implementing automated dismantling, an integrated processing method.
The project, titled "Demonstration of Manufacturing-and-Recycling Integrated Process for Horizontal Cycle Enabled by Automated Sophisticated Dismantling of ELVs," showcases cutting-edge technologies for streamlined recycling of end-of-life vehicles.

The primary goal of this joint project is to innovate automotive recycling by developing advanced processes and dismantling technologies. Denso collaborates with prominent companies, automotive parts manufacturers, and academic institutions to assess the environmental effects of recycling and pioneer state-of-the-art dismantling techniques.
