Chevrolet Captiva has been a versatile and family-friendly SUV since its launch in the market. Now, Chevrolet is expanding the Captiva lineup with the introduction of two advanced variants, an all-electric Chevrolet Captiva EV and a Chevrolet Captiva PHEV. These new variants will offer customers a choice of more environmentally friendly options for their daily driving requirements. While the conventional ICE variants will also be in the market, the new electric and plug-in hybrid options will cater to the needs of environmentally conscious customers.

The conventional Chevrolet Captiva is a seven-seater SUV that comes equipped with a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine delivering 149 horsepower. The ICE variant of the Captiva SUV is offered in four different trims, including LS, LT, Premier, and Midnight Edition, making it a flexible option for families requiring enough space, refined performance, and value.
The all-new Captiva EV is the latest addition to the Captiva 7-seater SUV lineup. It promises zero emissions and comprises modern technology to deliver a smooth driving experience.

The Chevrolet Captiva all-electric SUV is powered by a 60kWh lithium-ion battery that offers up to 415 km of driving range in a single charge and 201 horsepower of power delivery. The electric iteration of this popular family SUV in the UAE has flexible charging options, including Level 1 (2.1kW), Level 2 (6.6 kW), and DC fast charging. With DC fast charging, the EV battery can charge 0-80% in 45 minutes and deliver 75 km of range in 10 minutes of charging.
The Captiva EV comes with a Level 1 portable charging cable, a 7kW wall box for home installation, and a Type 2 to Type 2 cable, making daily electric driving convenient and hassle-free for the customers.
The extended range variant, Chevrolet Captiva PHEV, has also been introduced, featuring a 1.5-liter gasoline engine with a 20.5kWh battery. This version of the Chevrolet Captiva SUV delivers 201 hp of power output and can travel up to 1,000 km on a single charge and a full fuel tank. There are three propulsion modes, EV, HEV, and EV MAX, as well as four drive settings, ECO, ECO+, Standard, and Sport, so that drivers can configure their Captiva PHEV according to road conditions and drive preferences.

It comes with various charging options, including Level 1 (2.1kW), Level 2 (3.3 kW), and up to 24kW DC fast charging. It also has a Level 1 portable charge as standard, so that the drivers can charge their PHEV seamlessly.
In both the Chevrolet Captiva EV and PHEV, the company has offered a refreshed interior with a wider and longer body design. Inside the cabin are five premium seats upholstered in high-quality synthetic leather, a sleek wood-effect dashboard, and up to 532 liters of boot space.

The customers have a wide range of exterior color options available, including Galaxy White, Laser Grey, Shadow Golden, Dawn Blue, Khaki Green, and Red Metallic. A two-tone roof option is limited to the Captiva EV, which adds an extra layer of personalization and style. In LT trim, the SUV features a 10.1-inch infotainment screen and an 8.8-inch driver display, whereas the Premium trim gets a 15.6-inch central display, panoramic sunroof, power liftgate, and a 360-degree camera.
In terms of safety, the vehicle comes with adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, forward collision alert, lane departure warning, and an intelligent driver assistance system. In all models, there are smart keyless entry, four airbags as standard, power folding side mirrors, and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support.
Chevrolet has backed its Captiva SUV lineup with a comprehensive after-sales support program, including a 3-year or 100,000 km vehicle warranty. For EV and PHEV buyers, here is an 8-year or 160,000 km battery warranty for a seamless ownership experience.
