Chery’s sub-brand iCAUR has registered its global debut in Dubai by launching two of its newest electric models, iCAUR V27 and iCAUR 03T, alongside iCAUR V23, marking the brand’s expansion into international markets. The launch of sub-brand iCAUR and flagship models under this brand name represents Chery’s growing EV ambitions with a strong focus on REEV technology.

Presented as iCAUR’s most advanced and premium SUV, iCAUR V27 is a mid-size extended-range off-road SUV with nearly five meters of length and commanding road presence. Under the hood, V27 gets a range-extended electric powertrain comprising a 1.5-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine with an electric drive system. The engine unit does not drive the wheels, but it functions as a generator to charge the vehicle’s battery pack, removing the issue of range anxiety.

The iCAUR V27 SUV customers have two drivetrain options available: RWD and AWD. The AWD variant is likely to produce 449 horsepower of combined power output. However, the official engine performance details are not disclosed yet, but it is confirmed that it will have a CLTC-rated all-electric range of 200 km and a combined range of over 1,000 km.
Additionally, both iCAUR V27 and iCAUR 03T are claimed to accelerate 0-100 km/h in 5.9 seconds, setting a big competition for top rivals in the UAE market.

With the launch of iCAUR 03T, the sub-brand of Chery introduced extended range capabilities to the compact crossover segment. Similar to v27, the iCAUR 03T also packs a 1.5T REEV system to power the battery pack and deliver over 1,000 km of combined range and accelerate 0-100 km in 5.9 seconds.

While the technical specifications haven’t been revealed officially, the 03T compact crossover is likely to be similarly tech-forward and urban commute-friendly like iCAUR V27.
By unveiling iCAUR V27, iCAUR 03T, and iCAUR V23, iCAUR has made its global debut in Dubai. All three models have been categorised as tech-forward and city commute-friendly vehicles with unmatched practicality and comfort features. The details about key specifications are limited, but these models cover multiple market segments and have capabilities to disrupt the market with extended range and premium features.
In the UAE, Chery is already one of the top Chinese brands with a Tiggo vehicle lineup as well as flagship models from other brands like Jetour, EXEED, OMODA, and JAECOO. The addition of iCAUR further adds to its market presence and greater customer reach.
