Design and Dimensions

Both the Tiggo 9 and Tiggo 9 C-DM use a "soft light aesthetics" design, featuring a hexagonal grille, continuous lights, and multi-spoke wheels. The lower front has a slight redesign for a more modern appearance.

The size of both models is the same as the previous generation, measuring 4820 mm long, 1930 mm wide, and 1699 mm high (1710 mm with additional features), with a wheelbase of 2820 mm.

Powertrain Options

The Tiggo 9 is equipped with a 2.0T engine paired with either a 7DCT or an Aisin 8AT transmission, producing 192 kW (257 hp) and 400 Nm of torque. It offers three driving modes: economy, standard, and sport.

The Tiggo 9 C-DM is a plug-in hybrid version. It features Chery's Kunpeng Super Performance Electric Hybrid C-DM system, combining a 1.5T hybrid engine with a front electric motor. Its ternary lithium battery pack has a capacity of 19.43 kWh.

The Tiggo 9 C-DM delivers a total power output of 377 kW (507 hp) and can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.8 seconds. It has a pure electric range of 106 km and a total range of over 1,400 km when both the tank and battery are full.

Interior and Features

Inside, both models have a D-shaped multi-function steering wheel and a dual-screen layout for the instrument panel and central control. They use a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip for the built-in system. Customers can pick between a five-seater layout with two front seats and three back seats or a seven-seater layout with two front seats, three middle seats, and two back seats.

Other key features include an opening panoramic sunroof, an electric tailgate, rain-sensing wipers, heated front seats, a reversing radar, advanced driving assistance, Huawei HiCar and Apple CarPlay, 50 W wireless charging, ambient lighting, remote control, eight speakers, and an AI system for cockpit interaction.
