ChangAn Automobile, a Chinese car manufacturing company, has reported its global sales figures for the first half of 2025, marking a total of 1.355 units of sales globally and the brand’s best H1 performance in nearly eight years. The strong sales figure for H1 2025 is primarily driven by the increased demand for its New Energy Vehicle (NEV) lineup, as well as consistent sales for flagship models like the CS75 Series.

The ChangAn’s NEV lineup alone contributed to 450,000 units of sales, witnessing 48.8% YoY growth. The total vehicle sales between January 2025 and June 2025 for ChangAn stood at 1.355 million units, including 450,000 units of NEV sales.
In May 2025, ChangAn generated 224,310 units of global sales, seeing over 9% of YoY increase. The NEV lineup saw 94,828 unit sales, while DEEPAL sold 25.521 units to mark 78% of YoY surge and AVATAR 12,767 units for 178% of YoY growth.
DEEPAL’s global vehicle deliveries crossed the 500,000 units milestone on June 10, while it launched in Norway as part of its European expansion on July 3, 2025. ChangAn’s CS75 SUV lineup also delivered strong performance by crossing 2.8 million units of sales in the global market.
ChangAn considers the Middle East and Africa as its emerging markets and is expanding its product and service lineup across the region to boost sales figures and increase market capitalization. After launching DEEPAL in Norway, the company is now focusing on expanding its NEV lineup in the Middle East, including the UAE.
In the region, ChangAn is consistently working with its regional partners to strengthen its service network, introduce new NEV models, and offer a tailored experience for customers. The company aims to benefit from the rising demand for intelligent, sustainable vehicles across Gulf markets.
