The Bugatti Tourbillon is one of the most anticipated Bugatti supercars from the French luxury sports car manufacturer. The upcoming Tourbillon will debut as the successor to the legendary Chiron supercar. Its pre-production test has been going through in select markets to check its feasibility and performance benchmarks. Recently, the Bugatti Tourbillon was spotted testing in the UAE. While the exact location is unconfirmed, the road performance tests in extreme weather conditions of the UAE reflect how capable the Tourbillon will be.

It's been around two years since Bugatti announced the launch of a new flagship model. This announcement also confirmed that the French hypercar manufacturer will replace Chiron after its unbelievable success since its launch in 2016. Bugatti Chiron dominated the market for almost nine years. Now, the brand has decided to update its portfolio to keep fulfilling the ever-growing demand for high-performance luxury sports cars in the global market.
CEO Mate Rimac confirmed that the new Bugatti Tourbillon will come mated with a hybrid powertrain setup on the new flagship launch. Earlier this year, Mate also unveiled some information about the Tourbillon testing footage in February.

As per the available updates, the upcoming Tourbillon will be powered by a Cosworth-developed, naturally aspirated 8.3-liter V16 engine, which has been tuned to produce 986 horsepower at 9,000 RPM. With the electric motor setup integration, including two mounted at the front and one on the rear, the model will get an additional power output of 789 hp. This means the hybrid powertrain setup of the Bugatti Tourbillon will deliver a combined output of 1,775 horsepower.
The recent images shared indicate the pre-production unit of the Tourbillon is being tested on the roads of the UAE, while the location is not disclosed. The hybrid Tourbillon hypercar must be tested in extreme weather conditions to evaluate how efficient the ICE-powered Cosworth engine is.
After comprehensive road tests, the production of the Bugatti Tourbillon is expected to commence from 2026, with the brand expected to produce only 250 units for its global customers. Considering the road tests and prominent market for hypercars in the UAE, the all-new Tourbillon is expected to launch.
The Bugatti Tourbillon can be priced around $4.5 million (approx. AED 16.53 million), making it one of the most expensive cars Bugatti has ever produced.
