BMW showcased the Skytop at the Villa d'Este Concorso d'Eleganza earlier this year. This two-seater, inspired by the M8 Competition convertible, is heading to production with 50 units planned, all of which are already reserved. The Skytop roadster features a strong V8 engine and stands out with its distinctive design.

While images of the production model haven’t been shared yet, the Skytop roadster will keep the concept’s powertrain and design. Based on the 8 Series, it includes BMW's signature kidney grille with illuminated accents, large hood vents, and sleek LED headlights. The trunk has a central divider that curves into a small ducktail spoiler, echoing the hood’s design.

The production Skytop roadster will come with BMW's 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 engine, producing up to 643 hp like the top M models. Inside, the cabin is luxuriously styled in rich brown leather for comfort and elegance, featuring BMW’s latest iDrive infotainment system for a smooth and modern user experience.

The driver display is fully digital, offering clear, customizable info at a glance. A familiar automatic shifter and multifunction steering wheel provide easy control access. With custom craftsmanship, pricing is expected to start around £400,000 (AED 1,906,728), with deliveries beginning in early 2026.
The limited-production BMW Skytop roadster combines luxury, power, and bespoke craftsmanship, making it a highly exclusive collector's car. With only 50 units, a premium V8 engine, and cutting-edge tech, it reflects BMW’s dedication to performance and elegance. Anticipated for early 2026, the Skytop is already in high demand.
